2017-2019 Duramax Banks Cold Air Intake Kit

The Banks Power 42249 Cold Air Intake for the 2017-2019 L5P Duramax will get rid of your restrictive stock intake system and allow your 6.6L Duramax to pull cooler, cleaner air into the engine and keep out hot, power-robbing air. The 42249 will add an additional 20hp to your L5P and gain a total of 81 hp when combined with the Derringer inline tuner. Not only will it increase horsepower, your L5P will see less regens, and run cooler when hauling heavy loads.

The Banks Ram-Air system uses a molded, streamlined filter housing to maximize the space available for airflow. The Banks 42249 housing has a larger inlet and ballistic-shaped nose, which allows air to move more freely into the engine to give your Duramax more power than the factory air filter housing. This system includes an oiled air filter that requires less service and fewer cleanings versus a dry filter system.
